Bowls n' Bowlcuts
they it each morning, both with their bowls filled of cereal,
at the same black dining table each morning,
making the same mess of crumbs each day,
two coconut heads,
though the days of sun bleached hair faded; and
many things have worn away,
Love for them has only thickened
they are what ties us to "our"
our children
sadly, the bowl cut phase has past, and
even now they make a mess of crumbs,
i smile knowing,
they still share bowls each morning.
