Cigarette Smoke

I find the smell of cigarette smoke relaxing
Not campfire smoke
Cigarette
My grandmother smoked my entire childhood
I could find a pack in almost every room
I felt safe with her
And safe with the smell
And then I met you
Someone who made me feel as safe as her
And I fell for you
You smoke the same pack that she did
Perhaps that's why I felt safe with you so quickly
I lost you
I broke into pieces when I lost you
And i’m sealing the cracks with
Cigarette smoke
