sealed shut
some might describe me as
a soda bottle
sealed shut
forbidding air escape
shook
shook
and shook again
yet still
closed
ignoring piercing bubbles
rising to the surface
yet the longer my cap stays screwed,
the more the foam expands until the
slightest air escaping from a crack
leads to a bursting of bubbles and
everywhere i look my
thoughts are scattered in a
jumbled mess --
of puddles and
daydreams
now out
in the open.

I wrote this piece about how I feel about my emotions, and how I tend to bottle them up most of the time. I cam across the analogy of a soda bottle, and thought it was a perfect representation, so I ran with it!
