the harmonious rain

At peace I was at once
never again feeling disturbed like a thunderstorm
As the rain began, the river splashed and hissed
together, the rain and wind sang high pitched notes
Now, even as loud as it is, I was at peace at once
I began to listen to the music of the wind's screeching melody
and the rain's drumming along the bridge
I continued to walk
To where?
I do not know
