We’ll live on in the stars
Alone we’re merely specks of stardust,
but together we form constellations.
For the beauty of stars is that they’re born of pure destruction,
and continue to shine even beyond their death.
They are the graveyard of whispered wishes,
the guide for lonely souls,
and the home of fallen dreams.
And when we join the stars,
and all of us is forgotten,
they’ll remember still.
They’ll paint our stories in the sky,
so that we may live on.
And when we fade into the cosmos
our echo will forever remain.

Inspired by this quote:
"We are merely pieces of a grander design, even more insignificant than I imagined. When the earth ceases to be, all those stars will shine on. Our deaths will mean nothing to them."
