Miles
Trees stretch up for miles
The sky is invisible beyond them
The trunks with their rough exterior,
can surround on all sides
Shadows stretch on for miles
They only seem to be getting taller
There is more dark than light,
Only small patches shine through
The space stretches for miles
No end is in sight
Fog drifts around silently,
Covering up secrets

This was just written for a school assignment, but I like the wait it turned out. I based it off of a picture I found whilst looking at liminal spaces. The image attached is not the same one, but it's close enough to get the general idea.
