Free
When I am home, I feel like I’m in shackles.
Wanting to be free.
Not wanting to be locked up anymore.
Wanting to be more than what I am.
Do more than what I can.
When I am free, I am able to be myself.
I don’t feel suffocated being anywhere but-
Home.
The place we’re supposed to feel safe and happy
But to me... it’s the place I least want to be
I dream of the day I move out.
When I’m finally able to breathe.
To express myself freely.
Let all the bones in my body dance and wiggle; let them loose.
When I’m free, I will finally be at peace.
