This Paradise

The very familiar scent as you arrive,
with the windows rolled down
You can already see the bright blue water and golden sand
as you walk up to the boardwalk with all of your things
Your flip flops are flapping against your feet
And the sun kisses your face
You skip across the burning sand finding the perfect spot,
hearing the beautiful sound of the waves crashing
Running into the ocean, you are hugged by the crystal clear water
Splashing through the waves,
you get the feeling you’ve been waiting for since September,
and you never want to leave this paradise
