to my day one
As years go by day by day
I've traveled along life's highways,
I've been up and down
And sometimes I just went around and around
At times i couldn't have made it through
But if I hadn't had you
I wouldn't be the person i am today
You've been with me through thick and thin
When I cried you were the one that put a smile on my face
When I fell, you picked me up
If you weren't there for me, i would be lost
you'll never really know how much I appreciate you
Or cherish the time we've spent together
I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart
I don't just consider you my best friend, but also a sister
Our friendship is like winning the lottery

This poem is about my best friend since day one. Even though we get older day my day and don't have time because of school we still find a way to be with each. We have been through so much together even through thick and thin, but the world still tells us that we are mean to be.
