While I'm in the kitchen, every aroma has a different memory. Each scent taking me back to the places we have been. All the fond memories of us laughing, smiling and admiring every second. As I take the layers off the onion, I remind myself of the many times I would undress you. Layer after layer, slowly getting closer to the center. My eyes start to sweat now reminding my self of every down we had. Every disagreement. Everything we have suffered. Sweat turning to tears. Love turning to Guilt. Guilt to regret. Regret to pain.
