We introverts,
Have some words we’d like to say
Basically some thoughts that run with us through the day.

Quiet and shy we may sit
Seeming to have drowned in our pit
Crossed legs and steady posture
Hidden away is our roaring thunder.

A mystery to witness
‘’Why don’t they talk, oh my goodness’’
Down are our heads and eyes
But we see straight through you guys.

We love friends, not people
Any surreal attempt of conversation will likely be futile
Not because it’s your fault
But because we simply don’t want to talk.

Do not get us wrong though, we do in fact love to talk
But we first choose our circles with thought
More connections, little to no quality, nope
Fewer connections, more quality, dope.

And don’t get us started with small talk
‘’How’s the weather, did you see the new movie?’’
Please, anything but this
Awkwardly I leave, excuse me miss…

But lucky are those who personally know them
Once they do, they know you’re truly a gem
Reserved and mysterious to the rest of the world
So pure and beautiful to the ones they love.
