Time (Still)
I can't seem to get used to
the concept of time
never fails to fascinate me
I feel as if every second slipping
through the wounds of in between my fingers
my desperation forbidding
I feel as if I've lived an eternity
but I know my time is running out
too far for me to reach
with every painful breath
I only get further still
But here I will wait
miserably
against my will
my heart embraced
dancing with ache
always
and forever
my time is running out,
but eternity is still.
