The Rain Kept Pouring
She listened to the droplets hitting her home
While laying in bed filling her mind with thoughts of negativity
She wished to be someone else’s satisfaction
She was tired of not being number one
But the rain kept pouring
The sun did not shine
Nor did the animals cheer in joy
She wants to release these imaginations
But the rain kept pouring
She remained as she was
