Got tangled up in her frizzy waves
Swept away by the rain she plays in ‘til sunrise
Trapped in the jewelry she never wears, yet saves

I wanted her more than many finer things in life
I dreamt of our future together
Maybe even one day she would be my wife
She could be my forever
