Tart Floral Tea
Nothing is never as it seems.
You look out your window to see a world on fire
While I see the world as ice cold
For you were not born into a burning house
So how could you love the fire?
How could a normal person feel safe as the flames licked their delicate skin?
When would anyone else wear hoodies in 90 degree weather?
And when people walk into the house, only the embers are lit
Yet those who have been in the burning house before can still feel the still heat in the house
And those who have never seen the house alit are shocked when they see the childrens burn marks
But the children just wants to feel the heat again
May I offer you a glass of tart floral tea?
When you are born into a glacier
All you know is ice and cold
All you know is backs turned on you
And the feeling of a bleeding heart
However a house cannot be both on fire and a glacier
So eventually everyone in the house starts drowning
And some climb through the windows and escape
But many are still in the burning glacier house
So I ask you again
May I offer you a glass of tart floral tea?
