Persuasion
In vain her warm silky curiosity spoke,
Words tumbled from her mouth as a kid on a trampoline
With words of bribery, and the nagging of her tongue.
The wants of her life swap to needs,
Curiosity of the mind overtook
Though if ever dared,
she would breathe wishes.
All in place of those curious begs.
"Words used from and inspired by the book ‘Persuasion’ by Jane Austen"

This poem originally started off as a 'found poem'
one where you search a book for words to shape into a poem.
This was originally all for a class, though I decided to dive into this particular one a little more.
Making it into something new
I hope you enjoy it :)
