The Love I Still Have

“I miss the love I still have”
I know we have to part someday
Because destiny is against me
But maybe that’s how it is meant to be
I know that its best for us to part
But is hard for my heart
From this experience
A lesson I will learn
About life and all the things that come
When you hold on to someone
And while I know it will hurt me soon
I regret nothing of what I’ve done
For I cherish the time we have together
And will learn in the time we have apart
But I dread the broken heart
