The hidden Bully
Anxiety is an ever-opening sand trap, when you reach for the end, all you get is sand in your face. When you don’t appreciate the strength of anxiety, he’ll make you appreciate it. You don’t know you have anxiety until after you’re lying face-first on the cement. People and places will raise you up, only for gravity to pull you back down. Sure, some things are fun at first, but you’re never good enough, and you’ll never get better. Anxiety will keep you from progressing. Self-doubt is his best friend. When you listen to the bullies, you get roped into bullying others. Don’t stop others from progressing, cause if you do, you become the anxiety. You will be the gravity that pulls everyone back down, and you’ll be the one who pulls the pit even wider. It is the spark plug in this engine of life and will ignite your fears that make us who we are. Everyone both hates it and embraces it, for if you appreciate the strength of anxiety, you will see the beauty of what makes us human.

I started this for a school assignment, but this piece is really an insight into who I am as a person, and shows how I feel about anxiety.
