TURTLES
A line of turtle artifacts,
Litter around my room.
Different colors,
Different sizes,
Some clear, some full.
All with a different name,
Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Grand Turk.
The places as hot as the sun,
With the same meaning,
But different showing.
From every cruise we go on,
Two or three more are added.
To the collection that waits at home.
A tradition to be continued,
With my family and friends.
And the new turtles,
To remember our stay.
