Let Go
You’ve promised to never let go.
Never let go of our love, connection, secrets, and favorites.
Time has passed.
I've lived up to it and you haven’t, I’ve asked to come back and you stopped replying.
So I asked for a response.
You said the love we once had for each other has become extinct.
We had an agreement to love each other no matter what.
LET GO, she said.
I can’t let go of you. We've adored each other for too long.
Live the reality that I don't love you, she said.
But this passion hasn’t stopped. Why have you condemned me into false love?
You never realized that we’ve both let go and we don’t think about us very often, she said.
So time has led me to the path of false love and extinction of a connection I’ve had for you.
I let go of the love I’ve once had for her and recuperate a love for someone else other than you.

this piece is about losing someone who you really cared about but it wasn't the same with your other partner. And you try to fix it or insist in them coming back but they don't want you anymore.
