Journey Bound
And with my journey found,
To meaning, I was bound
Only friends would I meet along the way
So long as I ventured only in the light of day
So I walked, feet sore and heart aflame
As I travelled a path that was viewed with disdain
Brambles and thorns scraped my skin
But I did not feel them when faced with my kin
I came to a fork in the road
And I confess -- I didn't know what the future would hold
I pondered and thought for quite a time
But in the end, my decision rested upon a dime
Heads was left, and tails was right,
And I dearly hoped my future was bright
