Vision
You had a vision for me
A vision and nothing else
A glimpse of what you wanted me to be
The exact thing you had envisioned
I was encouraged to trust and follow
You kept twisting my words and actions
That took some courage and I applaud you
But I know myself
Or at least enough to know what I need
You showed your true colors
And I don't like what I see
I took a chance in taking down my walls
Only to see why I built them so high
So take your visions for me
And toss them in the deepest water you can find
I was told to dive headfirst
Into water that you wouldn't dip your feet in
That makes me question your for a lot of reasons
I gave you my mind and you filled it up with nonsense
Yet you don't seem to think that there is a consequence
And is why your vision for me can go to hell
Right alongside me
