The Whole Autumn Falling to Me
I'm gradually learning to wait
Waiting for the break of sunset
Holding the last
ounce of gold in my palm
The apprehensive and towering clouds, I have to wait
Waiting for the deep silhouette
to sink to weave an accidental meeting
Every time I think of it
The green turning gold
I send you a drastic autumn
Every time I think of it
A wind rising
I become the sound of the waves all night long
If I could send you the whole autumn
I'd never leave a single seed
of winter planted
in my dry chest. Waiting for the back of March
I look over the distant jollification
Waiting for the falling of autumn to overturn everything
So that the life could be spun into rapids
Let you and I falling,
Straight down. Straight down.
Which upon us is the clear sky,
Into the maelstrom of your limbs.
