A Poem About Climate Change

The weather is weird

The ice caps are melting

Forest fires, droughts, and natural disasters

Occurring like crazy

Driving down roads where we once used to see these beautiful bright, tall things

Once called trees

Now all of what is left

is burnt or cut down

There's trash on the grounds

The waste is growing

This isn't good

The ozone needs patching

More and more animals are going extinct

Disappearing

As if they simply never existed

What on Earth?

When is this going to stop?

Pick up your trash

Reduce, reuse, recycle

Respect and protect green spaces

Walk or bike instead of driving

Remember, this Earth isn't only for the present

So don’t only do it for you

Do it for the future generations

For if you don’t

They

Will have to try and fix OUR problem
