Clementine
The odd spherical fruit
With a wart-like texture and a skin resembling the moon's craters.
Its tint not yellow or red, but a combination, with a gloss-like finish of light brown.
As we begin to undress its thick casing,
The fruit screeches, and a beautiful aroma begins to leak from its interior,
A bitter yet additive smell fills the nostrils.
And when its heart is fully exposed, its beauty is deeply admired.
When its core is placed on the tongue,
Its inner juice begins to flow,
It coats the mouth with a pleasant sugar,
Lingering the mouth with satisfaction and the hunger for more.
