LOVE
Looking for him in the hallway,
tall as a tree, with the most luscious hair.
When you spot him, you see him grinning from ear to ear.
He comes up to you and he hugs you.
His hugs are the warmest things in the world,
he squeezes, not too tight where you can’t breathe,
but just enough to make you feel safe in the world.
After the hug, you guys talk
and even after knowing each other for so long
you still get butterflies in your stomach,
that make you want to throw up
from how nervous you get,
but suddenly,
that feeling,
it’s gone.
Before leaving each other
he gives you a kiss on the cheek
and whispers “I love you”
his whisper is so gentle
you can hardly hear it.

I have only been in two relationships in my life, but they were brief, so I don't know if they should be counted as actual relationships.
