Rage is a candle 

Atmospheric, relaxing, scented

Then a spark, an engulfing fire

The fire spreads, burning whatever is in its path

Rage pushes people away, everyone is afraid

Out of control they say

What happened 

You're supposed to be calm

You're supposed to help me 

Why are you like this

You're hurting me 

Sometimes it takes one blow, sometimes multiple

Suppress the rage 

Hide it 

Does it blow down eventually? Yes 

At what cost?

Now you're cold, alone

Everyone is afraid to set you off again

You deceived me

Your rage, a sputtering flame

Now destructive 

Look around

Look at me 

Your rage,
