Clementine
The porous skin the clementine wears is like human skin…
Wrinkly, bumpy and soft like that of a hand.
Each Clementine unique in their wrinkles such as an elderly person,
each defined by their very own.
Clementine feels weathered and worked…
resembling the callused hands of a hard working parent,
But, delicate and gentle like the love of a parent.
Clementine sounds like fire crackling, like leaves or snow crunching under your feet being packed under your every step.
Marking your path
Clementine smells like the melancholy feeling of coming home to your parents after a long time away.
The taste of it, like the hug only a mother can give.
The last hug of a parting, elderly mother.
How I miss my Clementine…

This piece was made based on the five senses, I got a clementine and had to describe each sense based on my own as a school assignment.
