the broken love
I live carelessly through your broken love
your shattered tears have opened up its arms and yelled out
“ You’re home, close your eyes and you will be fine,
shed a tear my dear and you will begin to feel as free as I am.”
and as your voice creeps into my damaged mind,
I feel as if my heart is trembling it's been frozen over,
your bitter and cold love has swallowed me into complete darkness
and it has reached out its flickering hand, grabbed me by the throat
I'm getting ready to take my last and final breath
I'm finding it hard to breathe my heart is beating in a pattern
It's sending me a morse code but I didn’t realize what it was saying,
as I lay here on the cold cracked wooden floor’s I realized that
I'm no longer feeling I'm no longer breathing I'm no longer alive
My heart is still beating but it's not beating for me
It is beating for you, but it’s beating for all the wrong reasons,
Reasons that I would conspire against
But my reasons won’t burn in hell, I will
