That lemon like thing

That lemon like thing
Just like a lemon,
maybe a bit smaller.
Feels like sunburnt skin.
So much texture.
So many pours.
When being peeled,
the sound of velcro being fixed on the shoe of a child,
comes to mind.
The smell of a snack on a summer afternoon.
Sugary and fresh.
My mouth,
so acidic and candied after
juice being squeezed out,
after every single bite.
