Tangible and Flashing Love
Love can be beautiful yet alarming.
A streak of lightning flashing across a dark sky
Or the loud cacophony of thunder that follows,
Maybe even the dense humidity that spreads across the skin.
All signs of the looming storm to come that leaves the smell of wet earth.
Love is sudden and dangerous yet comforting and fulfilling.
