Ode to me
To whom I let be free
Never insult, always praised to be seen
Happy as can be
So here it is, an ode to me
Who hates tea
And also the sea
And brie
And all the greed
But deals with it all, calm like a tree
So here it is, an ode to me
Who can see farther than there is to see
Who can’t give good advice but will listen, whether he or she
Who has many flaws, imperfect to a degree
Who is good at english, but goes into physics, good luck to thee
Who’s future may have no guarantee
So here it is, an ode to me
Who can’t spout off any royal decree
Who can’t think fast, unlike a referee
Who is reckless, and rather fight than flee
Who is stubborn, and would never beg or plea
Who has no religion, unlike a devotee
But wonderful anyways, a true VIP
So here it is, an ode to me

This peice is all about accepting you flaws and loving yourself. I thought about writing something based on low self esteem, but I realized that it was so self depricating and that I never actually thought I only had flaws, so I ended up transitioning it from self-hatred to self-love.
