The mantle of my mind
She crawls deeper
I can't handle this pressure
These thoughts of love
I have another thought
It isn't significant
No other thoughts could be
She looks at me
My mind overwhelms my body
My body moves toward hers
No thoughts, just words
She says “no”
Another waste of my time.
