Breathing
Out of everyone else
Everyone else
Why’d it have to be you?
No description to forget
No prescription to realize
Pushing my pieces out
Needing a miracle
Out of this broken world
The zephyrs passing me by
Dust Bunnies rolling in the sky
You were my one constant
Are you now a ripple in my ocean
Nothing but one simple desire
Wanting but can not have
They say shoot for the moon
And you’ll reach the stars
Yet in reality, how is the moon is much closer
Is that my one happy ending
Not an ending but a beginning
Trying to stay together, but not entirely sane
Might be crippling in the dust
As even the weeds grow out of sight
Can I breathe for me?
Or will I still breathe for you.
