The Last Unicorn
The girl walked on, wizard by her side
They matched stride for stride
Until they reached the gate
Where they knew she would meet her fate
A castle upon the hill, glittering
She walked on, birds twittering
The castle was lit up, awaiting
The wizard said, “I am grateful to have been your acquainting.”
Now the girl walked on alone
Toward the dark, cold stone
And there she found what she’d been searching for
A magnificent beast
A deadly horn
A flash of white
And there the girl was
Now the last unicorn
