Teenage
Can't I just have normal teenage years?
Not deal with all the junk the world is going through
Pandemics, Protests, Hatred
this can't be normal.
Then much worse
I try to deal with it, cope
then get told I'm wrong
So I stay quiet
Wrong again, staying quiet is wrong too
What is wrong with me? What do they want me to say?
I'm tired, I just want to shut down
I'm done with being told what to do by people who don't know what to do

This poem is meant to show what it feels like to be a teenager right now.
It's hard to keep going while you're going through something nobody knows how to deal with, and I wanted to give a look inside to.
