This place was filled with light, life, many magic

Of blossoming blossoms and animals ecstatic

Of loving wind, fresh drink, and strong thicket

Nature true and classic

Sound was true

The boom-boom of clouds on sky blue

The chirp-chirp of birds of value

And other such loud noise going on continue

But the place was tricked

By a witch with a tick

Of anything involving music

And nature blooming thick

And with her purple hue

Her broom going zoom-broom-boom!

She grabbed her wand and spelled the place through

(Worse than Napoleon at Waterloo)

The place became tragic

Fast and quick

Long and drastic

No more of nature’s spirit artistic

But despite its issue

Plants continue to pursue

Between cracks of boulders and hard residue

With sun many and water few

The witch didn’t win, you see

Life lives on, in desert, in mountain, in sea

It’s loud, it’s loving, it’s never absentee

And it always cries “Yippee!”

This is about a fictional story of how desert could have had lots of life, but something happened to it to make it the desert environment we know now. This is meant to be fun and silly, and bring you to a little kid mood.
