The Light Ahead of Shadows
My shadow carries my mistakes.
The more it carries, the darker it gets.
But the less it carries, the lighter it gets.
If it carries nothing, then there is no shadow.
The shorter my shadow, the smaller were my mistakes.
The taller my shadow, the bigger were my mistakes.
If there is no shadow, no mistakes were made.
Some days I’ll have a small and light shadow.
Other days I’ll have a tall and dark shadow.
But no matter what my shadow is, I know
One day, I'll be able to look away.
