Our Hideout
Behind my house to the left
The small rotting house up in the tree
With its faded blue paint
Reminisce of our childhood
Was ours
With its boards that would squeak
With every pace we took
The paint that constantly cracked
Like lightin on a stormy night
It was our safe spot
The only place we could truly be ourselves
Likes to wood
Paint to walls
We were a pair
It was were we had our first kiss
Even if we were just two kids I knew
I knew you will be the only boy I love
Crazy curly hair like your favorite fries and all
You were mine
And always will be
Like our hideout
