A Pleasure to Burn
Theres a fine line between pain and pleasure
You see
People always warn you about the pain
The intense pain
To disintegrate into ash
But what they don't tell you is
Once the fire begins to crackle
And the initial feeling of shock disappears
It’s quite peaceful
Because for a moment
Just a moment
The world is quiet
And it almost feels safe
And all the anger
And the hurt
And everything you want to forget
It all just vanishes
Its almost as if your not slowly fading away
But just as fast as it came
It’s gone
And all your left with is a shell of what once was
