Journey of an egg

In the expected movement,

the straightened gliding of an ice skater

Hides little bubbles

filled with obsolete air

designated to the reticent areas

And after the cycle

A cratered moon

filled with bleak genetic dust

Lost as pearls amidst the Red sea

And from the lack of movement

contempt gathers,

as hair collects in the carpet,

to only become the underlying lattice

now familiar to the feet,

Apathy has consumed love.

But one night when two people emerge from their barren stretch of separation,

They come together.

Letting gelatinous masses writhing in their spit and sperm

Come and conquer these bubbles,

These igloos commemorating unavailable loneliness

Are now sequestered with the live secretions of the foreign beings

Overflown with arrowheads spears that puncture and wound this city

Collections of bombs that fall on the tall buildings

Tearing into the privacy, assaulting them asserting their marks upon this bubble

Letting those secluded beings suffocate against masses of cells

The fungi spread their fatty flaps upon one another

To bond into one intimate, condensed creature,

One larger bubble amongst other larger bubbles,

As a life is formed.
