Hatred
As uncontrollable as a wildfire
And as thick as a dark smoke
As if every time you are around it
You feel as if you choked
Hatred seems to turn every part of you into a dark ash
Ash as fine as burnt sand
And as black as the lining of the underworld
Ash that lingers
And gracefully falls
Falling as the screeching flames of its person attack
Appearing in a hot flash
While it may seem tragic
Hatred does not appear just anywhere
It is not magic
It is a feeling that is long-awaited
It has a beginning
Whether it is a lit cigarette bud
Or a match being scratched against a rough red stripe
It has a spark to its flame
It is something that has been created
Hatred’s story pursues
Uncontrollably roaming the wild
And as long it lasts
It turns into a
Deep
Staining
Blood-red
Followed by a verse of attacking forces
Causing silent screams
And cries for help
Like a sting on the tip of your tongue
Like walking on hot coals
Making friendships light up in flames
Making people appear as if they carry a cloud of darkness
Whether you can see the cloud that surrounds them or not
It is still there
And even though everything eventually comes to an end
Hatred always leaves a smell
Whether it is gas
Or burnt souls
Whether the smoke disappears
Or the ash gets blown away
There’s always the memory of what was once there
The pain that was once caused
The silent screams
And cries for help
