Strangers

I love to smile at random strangers
People walking down the street
To see them smile back
and think
Hey, they're doing that
because of me
Sometimes I compliment them
just to watch their faces light up
It makes me feel good
to make them feel loved
In these small interactions
we open our souls
and for some strange reason I think
we're not really strangers anymore
