For all those maybes
that weren't
that aren't
such current
endless nows
anyhow and somehow
the only ones I know
Can this be fair?
Unaware of what could have been
Of what these truths carry between them
Like Oreos without filling
Wafer/cream/Wafer
A question still remains
Do we live closer to our imaginary
Or-eon after eon
do we stay in the "concrete"?
Sweet sandwiches, milky me
Sugary snack and tasty treats
A fiction caught between realities
Is this the Cookie Allegory of Life?
Sugary biscuit, that's what it seems
Sounds like an Oreo if you ask me
