2022 Traditions Contest: Planting seeds
Tradition with family is best
Better than the rest
We plant seeds
Because she was in our lives we were blessed
They will grow guaranteed
Left us too soon
One February afternoon
Emma, forever our angel
On your birthday we send a balloon
Loosing you was painful
When the seeds we plant every New Year’s Eve grow
It is like you saying hello
Forever our flower
We still miss you dearly you know
You give us our superpower
We will never miss a year
As long as we are all still here
Your laugh we miss
Watching you cheer
We send you a big kiss

My best friend passed away from brain cancer at age 13. She fought a brave battle. She inspires me everyday. My family and I have a part of our garden dedicated to her and we plant sunflower seeds (her favorite flower) every year to honor and remember her.
