Frostbite
She ran down the frozen dirt road
Cold air filling her lungs as the moon lit her path
Her throat stung with the winter air
Feet falling one after another as if being chased by a bear
She ran one foot in front of the other
Taking a split second to look back looking for another
She became filled with fear
Froze when she heard a deer
She kept going
faster, faster she thought
Hoping she wouldn't get caught
Her legs felt like fire
Stuck in her head were the words liar
She panicked when she heard the humming car
Without thinking she jumped into the trees
She jumped and fell to her knees
She saw the headlight in the distance and froze
She sat for what felt like hours in the same pose
When the coast was clear she once again ran
Ran across the road to other woods and ran
Up ahead she saw the lights of the house
She was so close though frostbite nipped at her toes
She kept pushing as she once again heard the same hum
Jumping over logs and barley missing trees
She knew it had hit low degrees
Running for her life she knew it wasn't her time
She ran in a straight line
There were lights both behind and ahead
This time there were voices all over even in her head
The crunch of snow beneath her feet
It was so cold it felt like heat
The voices behind her getting closer
They ran after her almost like they know her
They eventually stopped chasing and the voices faded
She could almost feel the warmth of the house
She ran made a path in the snow kinda like a plow
She was so close to being safe no more danger
She knew this experience would change her
Every step she got closer then BAM
She didn't know what happened
But she felt a sharp pain in her ankle
Her head was pounding
She could hear her heart beating
She stood and her world spun
She couldn't run
She fell and hit her face in the snow
It was cold and painful
she had this weird metallic taste in her mouth
She realised It was blood
She looked up at the spinning moon
It can't be the end she thought laying on her back
Then everything went black
The End
