Love
Love is defined as the feeling of deep affection
I define it as memories connecting to create something meaningful
Something that interlocks the heart and the mind together
Just like a stranger is just a stranger
a person you love is just a person that you accept for all the flaws and imperfections
Love can mean many things and can form in many ways
Love is the bond between a mother and her child
Love is the connection between friends
Or the affection you feel for someone
And although the bonds of love can be broken
One that is hardest to break is the love between a parent and their child
A parent that loves their child unconditionally
From watching them open their eyes for the first time
To take their first steps
Saying their first words “mama, papa”
Running, talking, laughing, crying,
Watching them grow,
And when you look at them you think where have the years gone
Just yesterday you took your first step and now you’re leaving me
Just yesterday I watched you make your first friend
Just yesterday I bought you your first bra
Just yesterday…….
