What I remember about that day
Is the quiet buzz of the phone
The silent weeps telling me the news
And watching my mom burst into tears
Running down her face like a stream
Not knowing what was happening
Looking at my mom with sadness
Nothing bout the meal we were eating
Nothing about the cold food
