Victory
I hear the sound
Dribble dribble pound
My offender drives in
I steal the ball and make a spin
Hopefully I do not fall
Dribbling up the court I make the final call
The game tied, I decided not to stall
Focused on the game, not on the gym
Crossing over and attacking toward the rim
My defender trips, on the ground is where he landed
As going passed him, I smelt something rancid
It was only the stench of the rubber blend
Approaching the lane, they begin to defend
I through up a shot, and it luckily went in
Laying on the ground, the ref with a grin
Yells out foul, I go to the line
This singular shot, could make our team shine
The shot goes in, now up by three
They can’t score but we must stand still like a tree
If we foul while they shoot, they will be rewarded
With multiple shot so we must be sorted
Only seonds left the heave up the ball
Not even coming close but hitting the wall
This win is sweeter than candy
Running into the lockerroom and start singing a shanty
Victory, Victory, Victory
