Drawing a Blank
I sit in class and my head is empty
Nothing comes to mind
I try for an idea
An idea of any kind
All I see is white
I have nothing to write
To the internet I look
All I see are dumb ideas on my cheap chromebook
The clock goes tick
I have waited til the last minute
I thought I would be able to finish quick
The more I thinks the less time I to finish
It looks as though my poem will be childish and plain
Then an idea springs to my brain
The poem could be about my procrastination
A poem to the lazy across the nation
Yes! I have found a subject for the document
The the chromebook I type with swift finger movement
I type about my lack of prep or thought
For an F I hope not
